The Galley Marina is designed to accommodate fully transient clients. It provides high speed Diesel and Gas along with over 400 feet of day dockage with power of 50 and 30 amp services. We also provide full shower facilities in the nicest facilities available on the waterway in the same building as our provisioning Market. (See Galley Stores)

The dock master's office overlooks the Restaurant and Marina with a view down river for 5 miles.  Please hail on channel 16 or call at (252) 633-4648 and someone will always greet you at the dock. We are in the transient business and that means we are interested in providing everything you need including fuel. Because the Galley Store sells fuel to street traffic, it allows us to be very competitive on price when moving a large volume. Call for volume discount over 500 gallons.

Marina Dockage:   25 slips -- starting at 45 feet going up to 100 feet;  fuel and pump out. 
Designed for the transient boater, this beautiful river location offers easy access to showers, the gourmet Galley Store, office facilities, and a waterfront restaurant -- all on site!   Call for reservations.

Fishing in New Bern and the Surrounding Area

New Bern is set between two rivers with the seashore only 35 miles away. There is something for everyone here. Start off with salt water fishing in the Neuse for fish like speckled trout, striped bass, blue fish, Spanish mackerel, flounder, then turn the corner into the fresh water of the Trent River to catch bass, crappie, and bluegills. Off shore is everything from king mackerel, blue marlin, tuna, bluefish. New Bern is a fisherman's dream place to live. Below are some great links to help with local fishing.
